Of ALL the different types of broken bolt extractors I've used bar none, this is my favorite type! As I mentioned in my previous Reel, I dislike any type of extractor that is a wedge shape and tends to expand the bolt from the inside making it tougher to remove. Here's a look at some of the broken bolt extractors "Easy outs" I personally dislike, and here's why. Any type of extractor that is wedge shap will only make the broken bolt tighter inside the bore in which you are trying to remove it. That works against what you are trying to accomplish and makes what you are trying to do more difficult.
