Do you freeze your grains before storing? I didn't do this at first, but just a small bit of research once I began building our 3-6 month food supply in our pantry...and well, now I freeze it all before putting it away in the pantry. This will kill any eggs that bugs have laid in the products. Which is gross, but it's a thing. 😮 I freeze, flour, oats, rice, and pastas for 72 hours or even longer, let thaw and dry at room temp for a few days, and then it's time to store them away! 👍🏻 . . . . .
