Lavani - popular folk dance of Maharashtra. Erotic, yet subtle, Shringar (romanticism) being its main core. One such Lavani is this and one of my favorite from the Marathi movie Pinjara (1972). Sandhya ji’s moves and expressions to each song are incomparable. My humble attempt and though not my forte, I love performing Lavanis from day one.
