I love flavored hummus better than the classic plain hummus. I had extra tomatoes on hand so I made my favorite flavored hummus with roasted tomatoes and garlic sauce. I made the sauce in a pot instead of the oven to make it quick. Oven or stove top, I was turning it into a sauce anyway and then frying and reducing some of that sauce. The hummus pairs well with simple homemade pita chips and the leftover hummus makes a great sandwich spread for school lunch. Recipe link is in the comments. #food
