MEMORIAL FACT: The park is organized as a timeline of the victims’ ages, spanning from Dana Dalkenberg, 3 years old, to John D. Yamnicky, age 71. We call them Age Lines. While each Memorial Unit locates itself on its respective Age Line, the units are then organized by birthdate along the Age Line. The Age Line traverses the park at an approximate 45 degree angle to the Pentagon, directing your eyes across the path of American Airlines Flight 77 as it flew into the building. | Pentagon Memorial
