Kyle & Madina on Instagram: "During the festival called “Dashain” Elders put this tika and jamara (Plant) which is sown in the Ghatasthapana on the forehead of younger relatives to bless them with abundance in the upcoming years. The red also symbolizes the blood that ties the family together. For Buddhist families instead of Red Tikka they use White Tikka which is sign of purity. I was invited by few families in Nepal as their daughter and they blessed me on their festive day. #fyp #culture #ne
