My daughter has been bottle feeding this calf that was a twin and today we have a cow that’s calf died so we’re going to see if she’ll adopt lil Betty Boop. I use a very patient strategy for grafting (adopting a calf) that simply bonds them through nursing until the calf smells like it belongs to her. There are many other ways and all have their plusses and minuses but this is simply how I prefer to do it. This is the first half of day one of 3 to 4 days and it looks like there shouldn’t be any
