On April 18, 1982 the AWA St. Paul Show took place in front of 18,969 fans at the St. Paul Civic Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. In the main event, AWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan) took on Hulk Hogan. Hogan would win the match only to have AWA President Stanley Blackburn reverse the decision six days later. This would result in over a year long buildup for the eventual rematch on April 24, 1983. | Davenport Sports Network
