Difference between RDL and SLD: In RDL, you’re supposed to focus on hinging back your hips and you can bend your knees a little which ends up targeting glutes (gluteus maximus) and hamstrings primarily. Whereas in SLD, you need to keep your legs straighter. The primary muscles targeted in this exercise are mainly hamstrings and lower back. Here’s a quick tutorial on RDL form explained in more detail! Keep in mind friends, the RDL is more of a back and forth movement, not an up and down movement.
