Fall Blackberry Pruning! Blackberry plants grow fruit as well as new canes during the growing season. The new canes are what continue to grow and produce fruit the following year. After a cane has produced it will most likely die back to allow the newer canes to grow, and you can help out this process by pruning. Prime Ark Traveler Blackberry is hardy to zones 5-9 growing 4-5’ tall and 3-4’ wide with an upright growth habit. Great in containers for smaller areas, just make sure to choose a pot with a diameter of at least 24” to allow room for growth. The plump and firm fruits are tasty and sweet!
