We always hear how important tummy time is but did you other positions are equally important!? These positions activate the core muscles in different ways (core flexors versus extensors for an example), the sensory systems, promotes visual development, postural head control and balance, promotes body awareness, hand and eyes to midline, unweights the head (with exception of supine play), prepares the body for transitional movements and rolling, promotes unrestricted movement, and so much more!!
