First Look: FN M249S Semi-Auto

Took 3 hours but the FN M249 got its first real deep cleaning and is spotless! There were tons of brass shavings inside likely due to the scraping that occurs as rounds are pushed out of the belt links, crazy! Being piston-driven it’s somewhat easier to clean vs a DI AR but the sheer number of rounds we put through it was the issue.
