After you strain your vanilla extract save your beans and make vanilla sugar, it’s a heavenly treat. Just place your spent beans from the vanilla extract into a jar and cover with sugar. I let mine dry out just a bit on cooling rack, before placing them in the sugar. I use cane sugar, but any sugar will do. Place a lid on it and every couple days give it a shake to evenly disperse the scent/flavor through the sugar. Wait a couple weeks or longer before using. Use this in body scrubs (so good), o
