I've been hearing lots of complaints about (southern) ice conditions and questions about this area in the north. There's actually very good ice on the majority of lakes with the exception of very deep lakes. There's actually great, clean ice everywhere I've been, up to 7 or 8 inches. Of course, check the ice and be aware of what is there - and act accordingly, but if you are jonesin to ice fish we have plenty of ice up north. #icefishing | Pete Maina, Professional Angler and Muskie Expert
