DO NOT skip @haines.alaska you will regret it if you don’t stop! It’s an amazing stop!! We saw more wildlife here than almost any of the other stops in Alaska. No need to pay thousands of dollars for a bear viewing trip when you can see them here for free. 🏕️ stay at @hainesalaskarv Oceanside RV park. Located right on the harbor and walking distance to the whole town! Super nice campground with all the full hookups and amenities! The tide pooling here was great, the kids loved it. 🦅visit the C

These have all made our truck camper tiny bathroom work so much better. It keeps everything off the counter and the floor. We have had them all for almost the whole time we had the camper and we haven’t had any issues with them falling. Just a few things fell out when we were in Alaska. Can you believe people left this much trash?! They left 2 sewage hoses by the free dump station here in Seldotna, Alaska. They have several free dump stations for us boondockers. But, if people keep doing dumb stuff like this they will not offer it anymore. Leave it cleaner than you found it, ALWAYS!! Shame had on gloves and picked up all the trash. I’ve never stayed at a parking lot anywhere and seen this many RVs staying the night. When you travel 5,000 miles to Alaska to slay the salmon on the rivers!! They fished two days straight in Soltdotna. Did you know they average around 30,000 salmon per day swimming back home. This was definitely a bucket list for these guys. They had a blast catching all these fish, they put up a fight. They all caught enough to fill our freezers and give some away to the locals. Here’s a few reasons why we and probably you shouldn’t get to a boondocking spot at night. -For us we don’t like driving at night at all. Unless there’s an emergency, we just don’t do it. -To arrive somewhere you have never been that has no lights is just not safe to be driving into the unknown. -You don’t know what kind of terrain or the roads are going into.
