“Sedani Rigati”: they are like smaller, curved “Rigatoni”. Actually the name “Rigatoni” comes from the word “Rigati” meaning stripes or ridges, as you can see running the length of this pasta. This shape is popular in pasta salads but they are also great for “Pasta Alla Norma”, a Sicilian sauce made from tomatoes and eggplants.
