The history of surfboards
Originally a sport of Hawaiian royalty, surfing was taken to the next level once surfboard designers started making boards wider, shorter and lighter. Correspondent Tracy Smith looks at how design, paired with the perfect wave, propelled the sport into the popular culture.

Beach Boys Documentary
The Beach Boys have a new #documentary coming to Disney on May 24th. It’ll be interesting to see how they tell their story, from their childhoods, to their early to mid 60s surf rock hits (of which there were several) to Brian Wilson’s masterminding of thejr #classic album Pet Sounds in 1966, to his mental health deterioration and paranoia, to Good Vibrations and so on… This is definitely an iconic and influential band, as I believe they influenced not only some of the sounds to come in the late
