What is Kiln-glass?

Today I’ve been fixing a kiln formed glass lens onto the cast section containing the imagery. It’s only now that I can see how well the imagery, embedded in the cast blocks, is meshing with the lens. These pieces are incredibly complicated to make, but I love them and this is the best bit, except for photographing the final piece when it’s all finished, that’s fab too! #glassprocess #glassstudio #contemporaryglass #glasssculpture #interactiveart #opticalglass #opart #spatialart #kilnglass #bulls
