Theo is at the hospital. We are just leaving now at 11 pm. This evening Theo wasn’t himself. He was laying down and rolling which is a tell tale sign of colic and GI upset in horses. Not wanting to risk it , I called our vet our right away. His exam showed no gut sounds, an elevated heart rate from pain, and dehydration. He wasn’t trying to nurse because his stomach hurt. Our options were to treat at home and hope he improved, or to take Theo and Sophie to the referral hospital for a proper work
