Back in the early days SUSE were considered the only project which had a solid KDE implementation, even to this day. As for why I believe OpenSUSE is great for daily driving: Tumbleweed always receives the latest packages from upstream development.

After restarting the PC (no secureboot), my plasma session seemed very slow, so I went to desktop info and got the info that the graphic driver was llvmpipe.
