2023年8月23日 · Units that were designated Zouave mid war did get the Zouave uniforms. The monument to the 155th Pennsylvania at Gettysburg shows a Zouave uniform though they did not wear this until later. As the war went on worn out uniforms were replaced with standard infantry uniforms. Zouave units tried to maintain their uniforms until the end of the war.

2011年4月14日 · Just received a JRA Zouave and the rear sight screw is stripped. It appears that it is the wrong thread for the tapped hole in the barrel. I know I should probably just try and find the right screw, but I'm tempted to try cleaning the parts and jb welding the rear sight base to the barrel. That screw was VERY soft.

2008年10月3日 · The Zoli Hunter, the short version, is a cut down version of the 1863 Remington, Zouave. The barrels are the same. I am not sure of the twist, I believe it is 1-60, though it may be a 1-48. I shoot in my Hunter Zouave a 470 grain Rapine trashcan with 46 grains of 3F Goex sized to .577. Shoots great and has brought down many a whitetail.
