The Yamaha YZ450FX is an off-road performance motorcycle made by Yamaha Motor Company. It currently has a 450 cc (27 cu in) liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. First offered in 2016 at 450cc, it shared many components and design concepts with both the Yamaha WR450F and Yamaha YZ450F motocross model.

Yamaha makes two off-road 450s that look almost the same but couldn’t be more different. Motocross is the driving force behind almost all dirt bike advancement. That’s where the greatest demand for technology and innovation exists. Accordingly, the YZ450F motocross bike is the platform for both the YZ450FX and the WR450F.
