In March, 2000, the Manitou Foundation graciously donated 320 acres of pristine mountain land in Crestone, Colorado, USA to Yeshe Khorlo. This land is being developed as a retreat and teaching center, named Choying Dzong, with a lhakang (temple) and four retreat cabins already completed.

Personal retreats are an integral part of the Pema Lingpa lineage, from which Yeshe Khorlo springs, and a stabilizing pursuit on the path to spiritual awakening. Our intention is to create an environment where practitioners of every level can experience the benefits of solitude, contemplation, and personal practice.

Yeshe Khorlo (Tibetan - the wheel of wisdom) - the name of the Buddhist centers around the world, founded by His Holiness the IX Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche. Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche is incarnation of Pema Lingpa, one of the five tertons kings, who, in turn, was a reincarnation of great Longchenpa.
