2023年5月12日 · GaiJin had the great idea of adding APHE on the 45mm guns. while it mostly affects premiums like the su-8, the Yak-9K is also affected. basically, you can 1-tap tanks with the yak-9K now so it has become the FOTM (flavor of the month) and everybody and their grandma is playing this thing now. truly a mgnificient decision....

2024年12月29日 · The Yak can easily pen the roof armour of anything, while that thing wouldn’t even get a shot on the roof in the first place. It just isn’t as good as a Yak-9K, and acting like it is, is just disingenuous. The Me-410 with the 50mm also exists, but the cannon and platform are both much worse than the Yak.

2025年1月5日 · The Yak-9K at 4.3 is better than the 262 A-1/U-4 at 6.3. And like, it’s kind of important to remember one is a prop aircraft (accelerates very well at low speeds) and one is a early jet fighter (famous for terrible low speed acceleration.)

2016年6月27日 · The yak 9 K is an amazing plane in the right hands, but utterly useless in inexperienced ones. The 45 mm cannon one shots every plane, minus a few bombers, and is an amazing asset in the air. The problem that most people have with it is that they cannot connect with the other enemy planes.
