2004年7月2日 · O.k. finally got the plan finished. Here is the Yak-23 Profile EDF Jet. It works great out of FanFoldFoam, or 6mm Depron. The plans are attached in PDF format, one large sheet plan, and one set of tiled plans. Working on the P-38 and hope to have it done and up for another 24hr freebie by this weekend. It has also been quite an evolution, where my first 3D printed Boutlon Paul was still quite solidly constructed, I now work with a wall thickness of 3mm to 6mm depending on the size of the model.

2004年10月8日 · Just finished building my Foamtastic Models Yak-23. I made mine out of FanFoldFoam i.e. Bluecor. I used a GWS 4-channel picco RX, 2 GWS Picco servos, GWS 5 amp speed control, EDF 50 and a 830mah 7.4volt Thunder Power battery. I did not deviate from the plans other than adding a depron foam elevator pushrod support.

2016年9月19日 · The rear canopy portion will also be painted, like some of the Yak 23's, which will hide the magnet hold down plate. The glued in plate also serves the purpose of keeping the canopy sides from bowing outward, which they have a tendency to do over time.
