May 6, 2022 · Yesterday I bought the XP-50 which was on sale. I was wondering how to best use this plane to maximize its abilities as there is little information out there on how to play this plane. Seeing the armament, it seems like it might be practically a twin engine zero, is this the case or am I mistaken? Thanks!

XP-50 is broken. not sure how it manages the turn radius of a zero and the climb rate of a biplane

exactly what it says. I'm looking to buy a rank 3 premium to help with the grind, and so i was looking at the xp-50. also, if it is not, what are some good premiums to buy?

Apr 19, 2023 · The XP-50 has none of the qualities of a good interceptor for this BR, its a fragile fighter with an airspawn that it shouldn’t have. If you want further proof, its cousin the XF5F with the same characteristics relative to its BR ground spawns and is a balanced fighter as a result.

Jun 16, 2023 · The airspawn should prolly be taken away IMO. The XP-50 was in the warbonds shop recently, so a lot of high level players have gotten it for free to club and print SL in. Thankfully the average XP-50 pilot is attracted to BV-238s like moths to a flame and flies to them in a straight line.

WTF are you on about? First, the xp-50 is 4.0 and the J2M2 4.3. That is functionally the same matchmaker. Second, The J2M2 is a hard counter to the XP-50. It out-climbs, out-turns, and out-energies the xp-50. On top of that, most single engine fighters outroll the xp-50, and can use a scissors/rolling scissors to reverse an xp-50.

Oct 25, 2022 · I rather a XP-50 that stays high attempting to steal kills over the XP-50 players that use the airspawn to buzz the af and proceed to ground pound. Far out, it's actually painful to watch that happen.

May 14, 2023 · The XP-50 is good but it's pretty justified at its battle rating in my opinion. It's basically got all of it's eggs in one basket: the early game. You climb, you use your energy advantage to try kill a bomber or an isolated fighter and then if you are lucky you have enough cannon rounds for a second fight.
