2021年4月15日 · After the successful approval of operation, the so-called 'X-Wagen' will be in use for all Viennese on the four lines U1 to U4 from 2022. With the completion of the new U5 in 2026, the new vehicles will also be running fully automatically. The pre-series train was delivered to Wiener Linien in July 2020.
