WTCW - The Women's Tree Climbing Workshop®'s mission is to create a safe, encouraging, and empowering learning environment for women to climb trees, with an emphasis on arboriculture. Since 2009 - Education.

Since 2009 the WTCW has grown to offer more than just tree climbing. With an all woman lead team, our focus is to provide women with the skills and knowledge they need to develop their arborskills with confidence and safety.

WTCW delivers a range of courses from tree climbing (for all levels), to pruning, chainsaw safety and operations, chainsaw maintenance, aerial rescue for tree climbers, tree identification, trail building, forest bathing, personalized classes and more.

Feb 21, 2025 · WTCW is back at the Texas State University Camp on February 21-23, 2025 for our annual Women's Tree Climbing Workshop. WTCW recognizes women as all individuals who identify as female (includes cis-gendered, trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people).

WTCW offers 2.5-day tree climbing workshops, chainsaw safety classes, aerial rescue and gear inspection trainings, First Aid/CPR/AED certification courses, electrical hazard awareness training, and leadership development programs as well as individually tailored training & education.
