2024年8月30日 · I am loading for a Tikka T3 chambered in 300 WSM. I am using AGD brass and I have bumped the brass 5 thousandths using a sinclair 35 degree bump gauge insert. This will be the 3rd or 4th firing on this brass. The issue that I'm running into is difficulty closing the bolt. I suspect the base of the brass is not being sized enough.

2004年1月5日 · 1. Actions are all the same length (3.4" with factory mags, 3.56" with aics conversions, there's some fringe stuff that will get you more). Short mags like the 270 wsm do really well in a tikka with the bolt stop modded (how I have mine set up). Prefits come shouldered or with a barrel nut.

2014年10月11日 · I am attempting to smoke a small flat with no water in my water pan on my 18.5" WSM. I have the water pan wrapped in heavy duty alum foil. It isn't filled with anything, just wrapped in foil. My temps are up around 280 and I want 235ish. Am i missing something here, or does it just take longer...

2024年11月16日 · I am shooting a stock Winchester model 70, 7mm WSM. I'm loading new Hornady brass, Hornady #28452 SST 162 grain bullets, using CCi 250 primers. I'm usually hunting in or near the Bighorn mountains of Wyoming for mule deer, elk, and antelope. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the best powder and amount to use.

Found myself in a situation where I am no longer able to shoot heavier recoiling cartridges. Would still like to have something with good LR capabilities but do not want to keep picking myself off the ground. TIA

I have been reading about the 6.5 saum though and don't want to look back and say should have could have. At this point I have not dealt with the 6.5 caliber at all. Now I am interested in trying a couple out.

2011年5月9日 · I have a question for WSM 18.5 owners, using the IQ110. I’m curious as to how you position your vents. Especially the bottom one where the IQ bowl attaches and how much you open the top vent. I am also using an IQ on my 18.5 WSM. I close the bottom vent to where the daisy wheel touches the IQ toggle bolt and the top is about 3/4 of the way open.
