2022年4月18日 · Although we may have heard of WFWP’s connection to the United Nations and read something about their UN work, it isn’t always clear what WFWP’s general consultative status actually means on the ground. The following is a brief introduction to this status and the various ways in which WFWP contributes to UN work.

Good evening! Thank you for choosing to spend your time and your weekend here at this conference in our nation’s capital exploring the many ways women of all ages can and do contribute to building a world of genuine and sustainable peace. I've been asked to introduce WFWP International, as well as

WfWP uses water as an entry point to women’s empowerment and to improve equitable access to water for all, for all uses. Local women groups are coached and supported to manage and supervise their own projects, lobby and advocate to influence local agenda’s and to become leaders or agents of change in their constituencies.

The Women's Federation for World Peace is a women's organization that promotes women as an essential ingredient in creating a peaceful global society. The organization is united globally by this vision while addressing the unique issues and barriers in each region on the grassroots level and through high-level events.
