2012年12月10日 · The WADA test itself is usually not done by the radiologists, but from what I understand, it (95958) is coded only once. The radiologist or other physician who does the catheterization prior to the WADA would code for the bilateral catheterizations and diagnostic angiogram (if performed).

2008年8月21日 · The WADA test is very specific, and is done to identify language, memory and the dominant side of the brain prior to surgical intervention. I have been told that there are some practioners out there using the Neuropsychology testing codes 96116, 96118, 96119, 96120 instead of the 95958 code (which may be reserved for MDs by some insurers).

My provider is asking if she can bill for a Wada test during Carotid Angiogram per guidlines it's allowed. However I'm not sure if she can bill the wada test without doing the eeg part. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
