And as I mentioned before, the detail in the available resource photos is poor. I have started to go through the militaria dealers websites looking for good photos in order to build my own reference file.

The Marching Shoes for early and 1917 and 1918 Pershing for later. The new French Model 12/16 boots look good and would work well for a US impression, too.
