2021年2月12日 · The WKU Communication & Branding Manual seeks to provide University standards for logo usage and color palettes, website and social media best practices, and important information to ensure that all messages about WKU are clear and consistent. Logo standards may also be found in the WKU Logo Quick Reference Guide (PDF).

All WKU faculty and staf have an obligation to continue to build the University’s brand awareness through verbal, writen, face-to-face and online communications. By presenting professional, consistent messages and a unified “look” for WKU, the University’s reputation, name recognition and brand become stronger.

Julia Franklin designed the seal to be used for the Class of 1911's class ring. It was approved by Henry Cherry as the official seal of the college. It features the ground-level archway beneath the facade of Van Meter Hall in the center.

The Kentucky General Assembly changed the name from Western Kentucky State Teachers College to Western Kentucky State College. This seal was designed by Kelly Thompson and replaced the seal created in 1911 depicting Van Meter Hall. The professional rendering of the seal was done by the S.K. Smith Company of Chicago.
