2023年8月31日 · UIC Art and Architecture building is ugly. Terrible design from Walter Netsch, but to his credit, the design was never finished bc of budget. His proposed design was also implemented into BSB. That’s also why BSB may be confusing, he called it Field Theory. Without these eyesores, UIC’s East Campus buildings are bearable.

2022年2月3日 · What is your honest opinion of UIC? All criticisms aside, what do you really think of the school? Undergrad, Grad, Alumni. Good value. People who don’t care much for the college experience will be fine with it. Professors are like any university some are good and some aren’t.

UIC was my 5th choice at this time last year. I’m now finishing my first semester and I feel as if I could not have made a better decision. Honestly, the campus is ugly as fuck. It's a commuter school, so lots of people put there heads down, go to class, and leave.

个人感觉uic的同学不会因为你不穿名牌而看不起你，至少我认识的男生们没那么爱攀比。（我本科穿了四年优衣库） uic的学生普遍眼界会比公立大学的学生高，人均出国旅游。有不少喜欢玩的，学习马马虎虎，富家公子小姐你懂的。

我是2018年高考，当时选择uic其实主要是因为三个原因：我就想在广东这边发展；我的成绩高出一本线没多少，所以上985 211不可能；可让我用一本以上的分数读二本学校也很不甘心。而很巧的是填志愿的时候，我妈看到了uic的名字，然后问我想不想来这种学校读书。

I can only guess that he/she has not been to that campus in years.
