2018年9月21日 · My TOPS BOB is one of my favorite knives. As others have pointed out it sharpens easily and holds an edge well. I recently filed a section of the spine on mine for use with a ferro rod. The Shango notch is okay with a ferro rod but the 90-degree spine works better. When I picked up my Garberg the blade design reminded me of the BOB.

2011年8月17日 · I love the Laser Strike, Esee is a great company. When I first purchased the BOB I was only sure of one thing, it was appealing cosmetically. After using if for about a year. I bought 4 just in case. I have the BOB in all of my bug outs and survival kits. The new handle colors are great. I love the green and black as well as the al black g-10.

The BOB excelled and I really like the extra “heft” of the thick 154CM blade. (Ill have to get it out beside my BK-2 Campanion next.) It performed so well...

2016年9月15日 · I've been looking for something different for a tops Bob I have as well. However, I have a question; what is the whole idea with the "dangler" sheath? Seems to me, it would be quite slow, and difficult to draw from, as it would just be flopping about, hanging at whatever angle gravity set it to. Sent from my SGP612 using Tapatalk

2016年2月28日 · I purchased a TOPS BOB about one year ago and used it as is for several months. I then ground it to a true scandi. It took me approximately 4 hours total to reprofile it by hand using DMT Dia-Sharp Extra Coarse and Coarse plates. I also sharpened the spine to 90 degrees in order to use it to strike a firesteel. I am happy with the results.

2019年11月27日 · Has anyone modified their TOPS Fieldcraft BOB? I removed the handle on mine and the blade is soaking in acetone right now to remove the coating. I will be creating a 90 degree spline when it is done and probably removing the extended portion of the tang. I’m debating what finish to put on the blade.
