In Greek mythology, Tithonus (/ tɪˈθoʊnəs / or / taɪ -/; Ancient Greek: Τιθωνός, romanized: Tithonos) was the lover of Eos, Goddess of the Dawn. [i] He was a prince of Troy, the son of King Laomedon by the Naiad Strymo (Στρυμώ).
