2018年4月12日 · I have had outboards all my life. This summer I want a reliable comfortable and economical boat for overnighting. I have looked at a 1988 27 tiara with gas 270 hp crusaders that looked well maintained and used the right amount. Should i just stay with outboards? 2022年11月8日 · the 480's had the same internals as the 450's but cummins signed off on them being over-propped on a lot of factory boats including the 38 Tiara. in fact, when going from the 450 to the 480 Tiara added a full 2" of pitch to the props on the 38. they add the pitch to eek out more speed and sell more boats. lots of people will change out props ...

I have a Tiara 27 Express. The Pursuit is an updated version of mine. You probably can't go wrong with either the 2900 or the 3000 Express. Getting closer and closer to making an offer on an older Tiara 27 Open. I'm trying to mentally compute the ownership costs. Here is what I have so far Slip - April-October - Approx $3000 ($100/ft is on lower end in this area) Land Storage for Winter - 800 Shrink Wrap and Winterizing (Two inboard 5.7's, no gen, no a/c) - 1000 Insurance - 1000
Boating and Fishing Forum - 29 or 31 Tiara Open? - The Hull Truth
The 29 Tiara Open would be great because it is still fairly fuel efficient at cruise (1 mile/per gallon) and I would save money on slip fees, etc. I could also probably afford a 2005 or 2006 model, and I like the idea of getting a newer boat.
