2005年8月11日 · I also have a Humax dvd recorder TiVo connect to a 311 Dish receiver. I have used TiVo with Dish for several years and Love it. TiVo has its own tv guide and does not need the Dish guide. TiVo's guide also lists your local OTA channels or will combine the guide from local cable and Dish into one program guide.

2007年8月2日 · In order to use your TiVo with the dishnetwork setup you quoted you need a second dish network receiver. What you want them to do is setup a Dish 311 receiver in your bedroom then you will be able to use your TiVo to control and record from it.

2011年6月6日 · Which Dish DVR do you have? The buggy 922? The really old and phasing out 50X or 510. The 50X/510 series were not so great, but the current ViP's, IMHO and of quite a few others who do like TiVo as well, are actually better overall than any of the TiVo's.

An IR to RF kit can be purchased that would allow your TiVo to control the TV2 of a Duo Dish box or even a TV1 on some Dish boxes that have the TV1 RF option. adding another box to an existing Dish system could be a problem if the install was not designed to support additional boxes.

2007年7月16日 · I have a TiVo series 2 and I use the Dish network 811 HD receiver. I'm still trying to get the TiVo to tune to decimal channels (7.1, 11.1 etc) with no luck. I have 11.1, 11.2, and 11.3 , with different programming on each one, but I can only get the TiVo to tune to "11" which directs the Dish receiver to tune to "11-01".

2006年5月10日 · I am having problems with Dish Network and Tivo as well. Dish worked fine until I installed Tivo (I am new to Tivo). I completed the guided setup with only one problem - Tivo could not find an IR code to work with the Dish receiver. Everything in the set up says if troubleshooting doesn't work, to contact Dish and they should provide the code.
