Termite inspections are typically separate from a home inspection. Home inspectors are not qualified to find termite issues. They may find previous signs of damage and then it’s on you to hire a termite inspector to specifically look for termites. You keep saying you got the home inspected but fail to realize it was not inspected for termites.

I started having quarterly pest control come last year, and they're now asking if I want to also have them take care of termite prevention. So far, I haven't had any termite issues with the house, but I do want to be proactive and do what I can to protect the home.

2023年11月19日 · Termite King- It is NOT glitched but the MINIMUM amount of bug parts you need to spawn it, is 3 termite king carapace and 12 regular termite parts. This gives it around a 33% chance to spawn in a raid. The more king carapaces you put in the higher chance, but by such a small % increase it’s nearly not worth it.

2022年4月3日 · Insurance won't cover termite damage either. I've heard horror stories of damage up to 50k but those are very extreme cases. But I'd be incredibly concerned with just the drywall looking like this and not knowing the extent of what's underneath. I'm not sure why you would ever waive termite inspection — especially at the seller's request.

My termite protection was $900 to do the initial barrier treatment (dig a ditch around the house and pour anti-termite sauce in it) and then $10/month to check the traps quarterly. The latter is required to continue the $1M damage insurance.

2022年3月31日 · How risky it is to go without some type of protection depends on a few factors (age of home, geographic termite pressures, conditions around the home conducive to termite activity, how well any pre construction treatment was done, etc.). When you find termites, I'd advise against only spot/localized treatments.

My house has had previous inactive Termite damage but also had a tree fall over right behind the house due to extensive Termite damage in the base of the trunk so worried about them migrating to the house next. Also burnt the stump and it burned for 3 days underground, hoping that got the colony but who knows.
