2020年12月14日 · The only reason Tasha's OG can even compete is the ability to cast spells while it is active, especially things like Absorb Elements, Shield, and Counterspell. If you can live without your reaction spells and need straight nova damage, Tenser's is the way to go.

2021年7月1日 · As for the ASI swapping: I feel like the Tasha's rules throw the baby out with the bathwater. To make a viable character of any class with any race, you really only needed a single floating ASI (ex. a Deep Gnome barbarian could redistribute one point from INT or DEX to STR). If a character can start as 16 in their main stat, they'll be fine.

Tasha/ Iggwilv has bound multiple demon lords and even created one to weaken the others. In terms of feats, she is one of the most powerful arcane figures in the entirety of D&D that isn't an actual deity. I think she could probably take Niv Mizzet.

2023年9月21日 · At level 7, Command without a doubt, Tasha's is fine especially at lower levels, but you have much better spells to use your concentration on. Really depends on how your DM does encounters, but unless the tend to have only one or two enemies, I don't think you will get a lot of mileage out of Tasha's at this point.

"If a creature falls into the space of a second creature and neither of them is Tiny, the second creature must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or be impacted by the falling creature, and any damage resulting from the fall is divided evenly between them."

This is a simple 1+1=2, and the idea that the beast has one action only is completely contradicted by a simple reading of the Tasha's text. As a reminder, here is the list of actions available in 5e, all of which can be used when the Ranger uses the bonus action to command the beast. Attack is one of them. Instead, ASIs simply represented racial tendencies and averages, which only matters if you are taking the population as a whole. We are making adventurers - the exceptional outliers of a race. All Tasha's does is enable us to make those characters from level 1 instead of jumping through a bunch of rather boring hoops first.
