Here is a Natural Mink Patched McTabby - a Natural (black/brown) and red cat with mackerel tabby stripes + mink. The Silver gene causes the base of each individual hair to be white (so the color is only at the tip of the hair).

2020年3月15日 · Another fun fact about cat patterns is that on a tabby cat, the darker colour in its stripes is technically its base colour. A tabby cat with brown and black fur is considered to be a black tabby. An easy way to check a tabby cat's genetic base colour is to look at the tip of its tail (if it is not white due to spotting).
