2007年6月22日 · The TLM 103 is a great mic though for the price ad if your only single vocal takes., Makes anything in its range sound like a Joke, the only other mics besides a TLM103 i have in its range are not even for the same applications, 421MD, 414 etc.

2018年6月26日 · It doesn't have the classic Neumann look, but it's a more versatile mic. It seems that the TLM series of mics has a much higher max spl rating, so maybe a pad isn't needed on them. It looks like the TLM 103 set with shock mount, etc., is about 1300, while the 87 set with shockmount is about 3600. That's a huge difference, of course.

2021年3月22日 · I record using the uad console with a Neumann tlm 103 with phantom power turned on. I have the neve 1073 at 40 for input gain and then a cl1b as an insert for compression, 1-2 db gain reduction going then straight into Logic Pro x. any help would be much appreciated!

2022年8月19日 · Sorry for the delay picking this up, UK time here so just up and running. If I record a test vocal a few inches from the neuman mic, with phantom power on, with the logic record volume set at about -32 and the record gain control on the interface around 3/4, then I get no reading at all on the loudness meter.
