2005年8月12日 · I have a Stihl 250 that all of a sudden last year seemed to have too much compression. So much so that I can't pull start it more than a few times before the rope breaks. I've had a few ideas along the way that I thought fixed the problem, only to find out I was wrong. Originally, I was stripping out the pawl.

2014年1月7日 · Re: Sthil MS250 is very hard to pull wont start! Since you state you can spin the fly wheel easily and starter assembly easily when they are separate pieces I would look for some form of binding when they are bolted together.

2009年5月17日 · The Stihl MS 250 is one of Stihl’s harder starting saws. Never attempt to start more than 3 pulls on full choke or it will flood. If flooded, put it in normal run mode and pull rope while throttle is wide open for about 30 cranks. It’ll start. I have a 20 year old MS 250 and it has been a good saw once I knew how to start it.

While they're no powerhouse, they should have a fair bit more power than the 141 and are a better saw in general. I had an 023 a few years ago and was quite impressed with it for the size.
