A gap in mechanics can be made up in other ways but you can also dominate a game with your mechanical skills. It truly is an eSport. Starcraft 2 in my opinion is a better "game".

2010年12月1日 · StarCraft II is now free to play, with all of multiplayer and the Wings of Liberty campaign being free to everyone. Han and Horner have been added as commanders in Co-op Missions, and massive balance changes have come to multiplayer.

You can install the original Starcraft for free with the old graphics, it only charges you if you upgrade to Remastered. The first campaign of Starcraft II is also free. If you like what you see you can upgrade the first game to Remastered and get the other SC2 campaigns.
