2022年6月4日 · Can someone help me to get rid of the handsfree mode of the XM5 in Windows 11? The headphones operate in A2DP mode and the sound quality is absolutely horrible. I tried everything from uninstalling the Bluetooth and sound drivers to disabling the mic of the XM5.

2022年7月5日 · For WH-1000XM5 Sony Headphones. Go to google play download the sony headphones app if you do not have it. Then switch on your blue tooth in you phone. Open the app and connect the headphone from the app add more devices and in your PC Bluetooth check the headphone that will appear there to connect it.

2022年7月5日 · After changing the option in the Sony music centre app settings - Bluetooth output to focus on audio quality, have a look in android develop options - HD Audio. The bottom option in that section should switch automatically to optimised for audio quality.

2022年9月7日 · Unfortunately, when I wear the my hoodie up on my head, the cotton touches the earbuds and causes music to pause. Talked to Sony just now, and they put so much emphasis into making the touch sensors very sensitive, that they don't have a solution for me. I'm sending them back, since working out with a hoodie needs to work for me.

I also plan on taking them with me whenever I go on trips or hang out with my friends and since I heard these are the best noise cancelling headphones on the market, I was also thinking of using them in my gaming setup.

Otherwise, I've never used any of the Sony ear tips. The Comply and Sonicfoam options are way better than stock Sony tips of any type for my brain/ears. I tested the Sony foam ones and found them functional, not bad, but far worse at noise cancelation and durability than 3rd party options. Try them. SF2 size is perfect for XM4/XM5 buds.
