When I try to split my devices in Teams, with the WH-1000XM5 as the audio output and then use a different microphone device for input, all sound cuts out, in/out everywhere. I can immediately rectify the problem by setting the mic-in back to the WH-1000XM5.

Do the same for the headset device and/or it's microphone. Update the Sound driver from the PC or Device maker's Support downloads web page. While there also check that the Chipset, BIOS, Display, USB, Network and all other drivers are the most current.

2022年6月18日 · I am experiencing the exact same issue. I removed the Hands-Free option, as described above, but now MS Teams will not recognize the microphone in my WH-1000XM4 headphones. When I join a call the audio is going to my headphones (via Bluetooth) but the microphone is coming from my laptop and there's no option to change it to WH-1000XM4.

My sony wh-1000xm5 just doesnt work on my new laptop: Dell Mobile Precision 7680 (which has bluetooth 5.3 which is enough for the bluetooth 5.2 in the headphones). Tried uninstalling all wh-1000xm5 related drivers and connecting again. No effect.
