SoCE@USM. The School of Civil Engineering is located in Universiti Sains Malaysia, Engineering Campus in Nibong Tebal, which is about 50 km from the main campus on the island of Pulau Pinang. Two-thirds of its student population are undergraduates, with the remaining students pursuing Master's and Ph.D. degrees.

The Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours offered by the SoCE is designed according to the quality and standard requirements for engineering degrees and is accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

The BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING (HONOURS) (CIVIL ENGINEERING) programme offered by School of Civil Engineering (SoCE), USM requires a minimum full-time residence period of four years. Each academic year consists of two semesters, and in order to graduate, students must accumulate the required number of credit units.
