Allt Maenderyn, often anglicised as ‘The South Ridge’, is the mile-long ridge running south from near Snowdon summit, from Clawdd Coch down to Bwlch Cwm Llan. This route to the summit is part of the Cambrian Way and the mountain option of the Snowdonia Way (which then go down from the summit on the Pyg Track ).

The South Ridge (The Connoisseurs Route) is the most adventurous walk up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Those brave enough to complete it will be rewarded with over 2km of a thrilling rocky ridgeline and intoxicating views culminating on the peak of Wales' highest mountain.

2018年7月7日 · The South Ridge up Snowdon is, surprisingly, not one of the six routes to the top of Snowdon, despite being the best of the lot! While the South Ridge is often started from Rhyd Ddu, the approach via The Watkin Path and Bwlch Cwm Llan from Nant Gwynant is a much more natural line to take and we think is the better approach.
