2021年10月21日 · I've studied the effects of World Of Warcraft in school. World Of Warcraft is one of the most important games ever IMO and it created the modern MMO. I could see Warcraft getting representation in Smash on its impact and legacy alone. Not even getting into the plethora of iconic and popular characters that would be very unique for smash.

4 天之前 · DK was at first Smash's closest thing to a traditional grappler, which means that his strengths are dummy strong buttons, grab capabilities, and high weight, but his weaknesses are being big, having a terrible up special, and most importantly, having trouble getting into his preferred range due to being slow.

2021年10月21日 · For me Smash is a videogame crossover and i agree with Sakurai's restriction, the only characters i'm fine with that debuted in non-videogame media is if it's a multimedia franchise or primarly a videogame franchise like Yokai Watch, like Jinbayan debuted in a manga, but he's still a videogame character, regardless.

2021年10月21日 · Honestly, i'm fine with Cloud and Sepiroth as the FF reps for Smash, i think they fit the bill. Alrough, some characters like Terra, Black Mage (My main in SSF2 lol) or Cecil would've been cool inclusions back in Smash 4, i think they made the right call with Cloud and later, Sephiroth, specially with how popular the remakes are nowdays as well.

2021年10月21日 · Smash is an unabashedly Japanese game in flavor, which is just a 'vibe'. It's bouncy and colorful and has a wacky sense of humor. Appealing to "western sensibilities" would probably be akin to making Smash grittier or more realistic, giving it a hard rock soundtrack , giving all the characters epic snarky MCU-style banter.
