2015年4月30日 · My first Sig was a P229 (got it in 1993) - I currently have four of them with my last being a Stainless steel elite. The P229 is my favorite Sig. With that having been said, I also have a P320 Compact that I am starting to like even more since I got the trigger slap issue resolved. Paid for Sig to put in the new trigger.

2020年8月31日 · The M11A-1 is a rail-less P229 with a tribute M11 name. It uses the P229-1 barrel and the P229-1 wider magazines with 2 + rounds. It can use the older classic 13/15 P228 round mags but the classic can not use the wider P229-1 mags The Classic is also heavier and the slide is wider and IMO the M11A-1 is slightly better balanced but not by much.

2014年11月9日 · Sig Sauer uses the designation caliber exchange kit to refer to centerfire conversion kits. If you are converting your P229 to 9mm, .40 S&W, or .357 Sig, you are buying a caliber exchange kit. Sig Sauer uses the designation conversion kit specifically for .22 LR conversion kits (only).

2020年5月4日 · I bought two new parts kits directly from Sig in early December 2019. One was for P226 in 40/357 and the other was for P229 in 40/357.

2025年1月6日 · The early P229s in .357 Sig, and .40 S&W without accessory rails, all made in Germany, had the same Frame profile as the P228, they just had the Magazine well "reamed" out to accept the double stepped Magazines, that would hold 12 rounds of .357/.40. That required they use shorter threaded Grip Screws, than the P228, and early 9mm P229.

2024年11月20日 · Yeah I remember those. SIG sold the P229 and P226 with the 22 conversion kit slide installed plus magazine but you did not get any centerfire slide assembly/magazine so it was a greatly reduced price compared to the center fired versions.
